Tour Summary

Enjoy your Abu Simbel Day Trip from Aswan as our representative will pick you up from hotel by modern air-conditioned vehicle. The trip includes Abu Simbel main attractions: the two Temples of Abu Simbel, appreciated as masterpieces of Ancient Egypt. Both temples reflecting the glory and greatness of the new Kingdom. In order to save from the flood, the Egyptian government and UNESCO cooperated to transfer the both temples to their current location at the banks of Nasser Lake in 1960. Worth mentioning that this Temple (also known as The Sun Temple of Ramssess II) was built for the devotion of gods: Ptah, Re-Her-Akhtey, Amun-Re, and King Ramsses II, too. On the north, Ramses II also built the Nefertari Temple named after his favorite wife Queen Nefertari, among 200 other wives and concubines. When the day ends, you will be escorted back to hotel in Aswan.
